Smartguards has a do-it-yourself impression kit that allows you to take your own impression and mail it to us.

The kit comes with easy to follow instructions on taking the impression. It also comes with a number of different trays, in order to find which one fits the best. Buying the kit gives you the option of any mouthguard design. There are 25 colors to choose from and an endless combination of designs. A specific team design can also be achieved as long as we have approval to use the logo.

In Canada it's $115 CND - ($95 if you send us an impression poured in stone)

USA it's $125 US - ($110 if you send us an impression poured in stone)

That is for whatever design you want and it covers pretty well the entire cost. 2nd guard available at the time of first order for %50 ($60-again what ever design). You have to ship us the kit with the finished impression as well. There also is the option of having a local dentist make an upper impression for you. This would save time and money of sending you out a kit. Just remember these are pressure guards which are the highest level of custom dental guards available. Most dentists still make vacuum guards, which is 1970's technology. Pressure guards will fit better and last longer while offering a higher level of protection. We use the best plastic in the world. None of our plastic comes from North America. We use a 4mm and then a 2mm thickness total - during fabrication. The guards are made from eva (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) material and fit extremely tight.
